Laura Toschi is Assistant Professor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Bologna. She graduated in Management Engineering in 2004 at the University of Bologna with 100/100 cum Laude and she received her Ph.D. in Management in 2009 from the University of Bologna. In 2008, she has been visiting scholar at the Boston University and from 2011 to 2013 she has been Research Fellow at the Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU), University of Sussex in the UK. Her main research interests are on (i) entrepreneurial finance, with a particular focus on Venture Capital and Corporate Venture Capital, (ii) technology transfer activities and (iii) innovation management, with an emphasis on patents and the dynamics of emerging technologies.
This course provides an introduction to business planning concepts and the tools necessary to set up new businesses. Corporate entrepreneurship as well as various start-up cases will be developed.
