The Entrepreneurship Master’s Course has two tracks: New Business Creation, for those who are motivated to start their own business and would like to transform a project into a concrete, structured and feasible plan; and Second Generation Entrepreneur, for those who are about to take on a new responsibility as for governance or strategic guidelines, in an already existing company.
The Master’s Course lasts 10 months, its structure can be adjusted to participants’ needs. It comprises 3 compulsory fundamental courses, that are held at the beginning of the Master’s; 3 specialistic courses, devoted to the creation or growth of new businesses; 3 optional courses that participants can choose among the School educational offer of courses, based on their own business interest.
The programme also features an International Business Week, a visit abroad to exchange views with the best international business experiences.

The Master in Entrepreneurship has a duration of 10 months, with a modular formula based on the needs of the participant.
There are 3 fundamental mandatory courses, which are held at the beginning of the master; 3 specialized courses devoted to the creation and growth of new businesses; 3 optional courses that the participant can choose from within the educational offer of the School based on their business’s interests.
At the end of the course participants will be able to discuss their business plan before the Management Committee in order to present and verify the practical realization of their entrepreneurial idea.
The basic skills for entrepreneurs. These are mandatory courses that the participant can choose within the educational offer of the School in agreement with the Director of Studies of the Master. They are: Administration and Control, Corporate Finance, Strategy.
Three courses that in detail explain the concrete actions to take at the start of new businesses: Business Plan & Business Model, Business Coaching, How to Create a Start-up (for New Business Creation track) and Corporate Governance (for Second Generation Entrepreneur track).
These are specific choices made based their suitability for the business idea. There are three courses, to be agreed on with the Scientific Director. The participant may choose within the educational offer of the School as according to the business plan.
INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS WEEK
An intensive experience abroad in an International Start-Up School or in a BBS’s network Business School to discuss with other entrepreneurs at a global level.
Participants will interact with other entrepreneurs whom have started or are currently managing their businesses in various countries and will also meet with institutional investors who will describe how exactly they select their investment projects.
The use of economic, financial and cost information for the management of a competitive advantage. Models for financial-economic performance analysis. The parameters for evaluating the company's profitability. The financial sustainability of the revenue performance of the company. The strategic sustainability of the business performance. Economic and financial benchmarking. Analysis of the budget and managing relations with suppliers and clients. Strategic analysis of costs: activities, costs and cost-drivers. The value of assets and potential profit. Systems for strategic control.
The transition from the planning stage to the implementation stage is characterized by a high level of criticality. Business coaching from scholars, entrepreneurs and managers are therefore essential, both in helping aspiring entrepreneurs to identify opportunities and threats and in implementing a successful strategy.
This course provides a full overview of the strategic and operational planning tools of the business, through a guided illustration of the business plan, its contents, and the multiple purposes for which it may be usefully employed in both creating and developing a business.
The course provides the main theoretical tools and methods for evaluating investment decisions of companies, determining the cost in company capital, optimizing the choices in financial structure, evaluating companies, the functions of the main measures for the collection of risk capital and identifying the main relationships of corporate governance and its implications for actual business objectives.
This course enables participants to address the major bureaucratic and administrative issues necessary to start an activity, which entrepreneurs and those who aspire to it face in the process of business creation. Among the topics discussed: choosing a legal form, the definition of the statute, shareholders' agreements and registration with the Chamber of Commerce.
The course will present the main tools used in business strategy and deals with the topic of entrepreneurship. Topics such as tools for strategic analysis, strategy and value creation, sector analysis and the competitive advantage, analysis of competitors and the enlarged competition model, characteristics and choices of the entrepreneur will all be introduced. The goal of the course will be to make participants able to go from an idea to strategic planning with the final result being a full and packaged business plan.
The Master in Entrepreneurship provides different teaching methods: classroom lectures, studies on the online platform, and for part-time courses; targeted tutoring by commenting on ongoing activities, responses to requested clarifications and in-depth analysis on relevant topics.
Master Lectures complement the academic path, which are held by professionals from the world of business, academia and politics, as well as numerous opportunities for discussion and interaction with the business world through the study of case histories.
