Entrepreneurship

A pact with oneself

Executive Master in Entrepreneurship

The aim of the Entrepreneurship Executive Master’s course is to train and inspire a new generation of entrepreneurs. It features two parallel tracks and it is meant for those who are about to launch their own business, as well as for those who need to manage it and for those who’d like to see it thriving.

The two tracks share an organization based on entrepreneurs’ needs and schedules. The course topics can be implemented right away and have a direct impact on the business.

From the knowledge of markets, to the setting up of a network of sound relationships, every aspect of the course is aimed at shaping a modern entrepreneur, having the ‘border skills’ that an international institution like Bologna Business School can provide. Attending classes will also offer the chance to share with other entrepreneurs the challenges, doubts and rewards of a life choice that perhaps not everybody can understand and share.

The New Business Creation track combines the training of a business school with the impact of an idea accelerator. The entire track revolves around the business project each participant presents. Then a business plan will be developed, which shall have to pass the screening of a panel, and the tools to assess the scalabilty of the idea besides the contacts with partner companies and investors will be provided. Thus, during the Master’s, the business project will grow in parallel with participant’s skills.

The Second Generation Entrepreneur track is for those who aren’t just interested in inheriting a company, but they would like to see it grow. With an eye to tradition and a marked orientation towards the future, the Master’s will make the handing over from one generation of entrepreneurs to the following easier, allowing participants to find value in both continuity and change. Those who will attend this Master’s not only will acquire business tools, but also develop the awareness of their role for the future of the company. The founding pillars of this track are: opening up to the future, thanks to new contacts with businesses and entrepreneurs, and the ability to strengthen the international network of relationships, so much in need for today’s businesses.

The Master’s will bring students, over a ten month period, to deal with three main topics:

Administration and Control, corporate finance, Strategy. Plus three more specialized courses: for all participants Business Plan & Model and Business Coaching, besides How to Create a Start-up or Corporate Governance, according to the track.

The program also features three optional courses, with the choice allowing to customize the educational plan and that is shared with the Master’s Direction, to ensure to all participants the best response to their needs. The journey continues with the participation to the International Business Week, a week of intensive courses in a start-up School or in a Business School of the network. Both tracks ends with the presentation of the business plan to a panel of investors, managers and entrepreneurs.

A business thrives or fails based on the tenacity of those managing it: this course doesn’t teach tenacity, but it provides all tools to harvest the best results. Book an interview with the course’s Director so you can start too.

THE MASTER IS AN INVESTMENT.
THE HONOR LOAN IS THE WAY TO FUND IT.

PerTe Prestito Con Lode”, a long-term and low-interest honor loan, with no collateral required to cover the full amount of the tuition fee.

" The Master in Entrepreneurship trains entrepreneurs who know how to create and grow successful businesses. There are three elements that best characterize the initial path of the entrepreneur: a motivation to create an enterprise, possession of novel and distinctive skills and access to the networks. This Master allows you to strengthen all three of these aspects. If you desire to create a business and make it grow, this is your chance. "

"With this Master, I found the most comprehensive solution I had been looking for in a long time, in order to offer my professional life a turning point. I have definitely acquired new tools to work with that gave me the chance to discover in myself new and great potentials for today's and tomorrow's challenges, which I wasn't aware of possessing. Besides the great professionalism and acumen of the faculty, the enthusiasm and passion they conveyed then made the difference, so to complete the baggage of resources that are necessary to create these new mental mechanisms that allow for the success of new entities and the achievement of personal and group success."

Francesca Lovato

Master in Entrepreneurship/ New Business Creation (ed. 2014/2015)

"Taking the decision of establishing a business is no small thing. The idea, without experience or means, isn't enough: this is the reason why I decided to attend the Entrepreneurship Master's course at Bologna Business School. I did it to exchange experiences and views with those that on a daily basis work in order to improve the performances of several, excellent Italian and foreign businesses. The saying goes that one learns from those you mix with and I wanted to surround myself with the best, to grow and learn. Here there are success stories, professionalism, exchange: the personal commitment is the last ingredient of this recipe to recognise and use at best the opportunities that come up during the journey. Occasions do come up, our task is to prepare ourselves in the best possible way to grasp them."

"The School was very open and the structure of the Master's was such that these elements contributed greatly to spur my entrepreneurial project. In addition to this, my colleagues at the Food&Wine course gave a tangible help in setting up Gusto Parmigiano, an Emilia-based risto-shop that has the ambition of bringing Emilia food and wine excellences to the most important cities in the world."

Zeno Pasquini

CEO Studio Pasquini - Industrial Design Studio
Master in Entrepreneurship (ed. 2013/2014)

"This Master has been a great opportunity for me to complete my training and at the same time to advance and better define my entrepreneurial project.
From the point of view of the training, best of all was having a flexible schedule that was adapted to my needs, from the point of view of the business project; the academic business coaching allowed me to make a great leap forward, to move from the world of ideas to that of business much more rapidly and effectively than I would have done if had I been on my own."

Networking

Networking is developed between students of the same class, between participants and lecturers, as well as with students from other courses or previous editions of the very same master.
The master will furthermore make you meet other young entrepreneurs at an international level.
