BIO

Massimiliano Ghini is the Director of MGMTLAB - People Intelligence, Scientific Director of People Management MBA Part-time's course at Bologna Business School and Adjunct Professor of Human Resources Management at the University of Bologna. His area of expertise include: - People Analytics and Human Capital Strategy - Organizational Change and Innovation - Emotional Intelligence and Leadership Development He is an international consultant with a wide experience in management. He loves neuroscience and the Brain-based approach to business. He is the coauthor of the books Vital Organization and Inside Change, coauthor of the Six Seconds Emotional Intelligence Assessment (SEI) and of the Vital Signs Tools (VS) to measure the drivers of performance and the author of several articles and white papers. Since 2012 He is a Board member at Six Seconds, The Emotional Intelligence Network. In 2015 He has won the Best Teacher Award for Executive Masters at Bologna Business School.

COURSES

Throughout the course particular emphasis will be placed on the development of a coherent language that allows participants to represent, understand, and tackle the main aspects of organizational life. The course contents can be traced to the following generic areas: the individual, individuals and relations, groups, relations between groups, personnel management tools, organizations and new organizational structures.



Being a leader who's conscious of one's own characteristics and understanding the way in which people “work” from a neuroscientific point of view are the bases to build a successful change. In fact, the real problem is the transformation into reality of the intuitions and strategic guidelines that we assigned to ourselves as a company or team. The course will feature theoretical parts and practical experiments to support participants in the development of a roadmap to facilitate changes within the organization. Case studies will be analyzed, such as IDEO, Pixar-Disney, Komatsu.



he goal is to develop participants' awareness of their own leadership style and boost some of their key skills to manage processes of change in risk situations with authority. The program is based on experiential learning: Participants alternate meetings which are aimed at doing tasks at different moments to observe their behavior, participants will benefit from the assistance of professionals and managers who have significant experience in leading groups and organizations to excellent results
